Overview Emergency Planning Representative (D662): General Dynamics Electric Boat is looking to hire an Emergency Planning Representative to support the Business Continuity Disaster Recovery (BCDR) Program. This position will support Electric Boat’s (EB) mission of delivering the most capable submarines in the world to the U.S. Navy by assessing organizational risk and improving resiliency. The position of Emergency Planning Representative focuses on organizing, creating, and testing Business Continuity Plans (BCP) that aim to reduce the overall recovery time after emergencies or business interruptions. The BCDR program works collaboratively with EB’s Radiological Emergency Response Organization (RERO) to establish policy, procedure, guidelines and protocols in furtherance of overall response measures and staffing of the Emergency Control Center (ECC) in the event of an all-hazards emergency.
