Van Driver - Reading Department: Child Development: Before / After School Employment Type: Part Time: Location: Burbank YMCA: Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 / hour Description: The Van Driver is essential to the daily programming and operations of Child Development and Out of School Time Program. Each Van Driver is responsible for maintaining transportation of children from school to the afterschool program. Key Responsibilities: General Responsibilities: - Effective interaction and communication with a wide range of internal staff and outside entities. - Transport children from school to the afterschool program. - Routine upkeep of YMCA vehicles; including but not limited to refueling, basic operational checks, and maintaining interior cleanliness. - Communicate clearly with YMCA Site Coordinators/Directors and Program Administrators to facilitate timely pick-ups and drop-offs and to manage children in the vehicle. - Maintain program attendance after driving duties are completed. - Sign in/out program participants and greet families entering Y facility.
