Hourly Pay Range: $19.31 - $28.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: Hours : 7pm-7am with (4-5 weekends in a 6 week period) and rotating holiday track - Position : Patient Care Technician/Tele Technician - Location : Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus - 155 E. Brush Hill Rd., Elmhurst, IL 60126 - Full Time : 36 hours per week What you will do: Patient Care Tech : Under supervision of a Registered Nurse and according to established procedures, performs patient care tasks and patient care procedures necessary to provide for care, comfort and safety of patients. Telemetry Tech : Under general supervision, monitors cardiac rhythms and oxygen saturation to detect abnormal pattern variances via telemetry equipment. In doing so, monitors screens, assesses patients’ cardiac rhythms, prints strips for medical charts, and notifies nursing and/or medical personnel according to established procedure.
