Description Job Summary: Provide safe transportation and operations of ambulances and other vehicles while abiding by all state laws. At times this may involve assisting MCES or other staff members with additional tasks as requested. Knowledge of customer service. Knowledge of standard vehicle operating procedures. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions. Ability to log and record information. Basic computer skills. Ability to follow safety, environmental, and/or infection control practices. Ability to lift heavy objects. Ability to interpret and follow paper based maps. Ability to utilize GPS devices to follow a route to and from a destination. Ability to safely operate large emergency vehicles at interstate speeds during poor weather conditions.
