POSITION SUMMARY: Committed to our core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility, the Gymnastics Team Coach is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all gymnasts. A Gymnastics Team Coach provides high quality gymnastics training in a competitive setting that fosters and encourages teamwork and a passion for the sport of gymnastics. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 2. Ensure age and developmentally appropriate coaching is carried out and modified based on individual needs. 3. Support the growth of team programming through collaboration with recreational gymnastics instructors. 4. Conduct evaluations necessary to determine proper placement of kids who wish to join the team program. 5. Teach youth and teen recreational classes to bridge the gap between program and team participation as needed. 6. Assist in training and orienting new coaches to the team. 7. Cultivate long lasting relationships with members, program participants, and families. 8.
