We are seeking a Sourcing Engineer to support new product development and sourced materials strategies. In this role, you will work at the intersection of engineering, sourcing, and supplier collaboration—helping ensure products are designed for manufacturability, quality, and cost competitiveness. Based in Elyria, OH, this position partners globally with commodity managers, development engineers, suppliers, and cross functional Emerson teams. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: - Lead sourcing activities for New Product Development (NPD) projects, including: - Creating effective Requests for Quotation (RFQs). - Supporting supplier selection recommendations. - Owning costed Bills of Materials - Supporting Product Part Approval Process (PPAP). - Identifying and mitigating supply and cost risks. - Manage sourcing...
