Job description

Essential Responsibilities: Assists one or more workers in the skilled maintenance trades by performing specific or general duties of lesser skill, such as keeping a worker supplied with materials and tools, cleaning working area, machine and equipment, assisting mechanics by holding materials or tools, and performing other unskilled tasks as directed by the mechanics. Performs a variety of tasks such as washing, lubricating, loading, unloading, and storing automotive parts and supplies. Maintains and cleans working areas. May be allowed to perform specialized machine operations, or parts of a trade that are also performed by workers. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or fee; and talk or hear.
