Job Description: The School of Music in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Nevada seeks a dedicated educator for the position of Teaching Assistant Professor/Lecturer of Music Theory. The typical teaching load for this position is 4-4 and the primary teaching responsibilities include: overseeing the undergraduate Music Theory and Aural Skills curriculum; teaching courses in undergraduate music theory, which may include post-tonal theory, form and analysis, and counterpoint; graduate theory seminars; with other assignments based on expertise as assigned by the School Director.
