Senior API Inspector

Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a Senior API Inspector to join our team. This job will be located in Bakersfield, CA. The Senior API Inspector will manage the conventional and advanced NDE Inspection crews on their project, primarily in the facilities and terminals related to the oil and gas industry. This role will be required to travel 75% of the time as well as be responsible for directing crews, verifying equipment under inspection has been inspected per industry recommended practice, including damage mechanisms. Is a direct contact between the Client and Audubon Management. Is responsible for safe and successful projects, while maintaining P/L for the project. Reports to the Facilities Manager. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company and Customer safety standards and procedures. - Travels to Clients' locations. - Conducts inspections on piping, pressure vessels and storage tanks within facilities and terminals. - Conducts API inspections on piping, pressure vessels and storage tanks within facilities and terminals. - Willingness to maintain API certifications and ongoing development. - Able to manage projects and personn...
