Experienced R&D Design Engineer - Process Innovation and Sustainability

Job description

As a Design Engineer for R&D at GEA Process Engineering, you will play a key role in developing the next generation of process solutions – from idea and prototype to the finished product on the market. You will be involved in the development, testing, and documentation of prototypes, as well as scaling up, industrialization, and establishing a supply chain in collaboration with production and procurement. The role combines technical depth with cross-disciplinary coordination – and you will be an important sparring partner for colleagues, collaborative partners, R&D project managers, and R&D management. Responsibilities / Tasks: Our R&D Department in Søborg functions as an integral part of GEA's global technology hub for powders. Here, we innovate and create new processes, devices, measurement tools, and machinery for the production and handling of powder products—from catalyst and battery powders to infant formula and instant coffee.
