Job description

The Team: Launceston General Hospital (LGH) Emergency Department is the major emergency service for Northern Tasmania, providing 24/7 care for a wide range of presentations from minor illness and injury through to critical emergencies and trauma. As part of Hospitals North, the team works closely with Ambulance Tasmania, inpatient units and community services to deliver safe, timely and patient-centred care. The department values teamwork, innovation and continuous improvement to meet the needs of the Tasmanian community. The Role: As an endorsed Nurse Practitioner, you will provide advanced autonomous clinical care within the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of patients within an approved scope of practice.
