VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center (SVRC) is seeking a Technician Assistant to support our Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) team. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced emergency environment. What You’ll Do: - Assist technicians and doctors with patient restraint, treatments, procedures, and hospitalized patient care - Walk stable patients and report changes to the medical team - Clean and disinfect cages, treatment areas, and procedure spaces - Stock supplies, maintain laundry flow, and support overall department organization - Assist with radiographs, lab testing, surgical prep, and clean‑up once trained - Follow hospital safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols What We’re Looking For: VCA SVRC is a leading specialty and emergency hospital offering hands‑on experience in emergency medicine, strong team support, and opportunities for growth within the veterinary field.
