SUMMARY: The Floor Technician is responsible for performing specialized floor care services to maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and longevity of hard‑surface floors and carpeted areas. This role requires skilled operation of floor machines and the ability to complete projects such as stripping, waxing, burnishing, buffing, carpet extraction, and deep cleaning. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, and refinishing of hard‑surface floors. - Operate floor care equipment including low‑speed buffers, high‑speed burnishers, auto‑scrubbers, and wet/dry vacuums. - Extract and deep-clean carpets using commercial extractors. - Clean and maintain equipment, ensuring proper operation and safety. - Sweep, scrub, and prep floors prior to finishing applications. - Apply finish coats evenly and safely while following required dry‑time standards. - Monitor floor conditions and identify when refinishing or repairs are needed. - Follow all safety proc...
