Job description

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a SUE Technician opening in our Rochester, NY office. LaBella fosters a team-oriented atmosphere and emphasizes unparalleled client services. As a SUE Project Manager for LaBella, you will assist with all SUE activities for land surveying and multi-disciplinary projects. You will be integral to the safe and accurate identification, mapping, and surveying of utility systems. You’ll have the chance to lead daily field operations, working alongside a skilled team of technicians, engineers, and surveyors. Duties: - Operate and maintain SUE utility locating and designating equipment (electromagnetic induction and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to accurately identify and map subsurface utilities. - Ability to read and interpret utility prints, design plans, and map utility infrastructure. - Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience managing field crews. - Assist with the day-to-day operations of the field and office Team on a variety of SUE projects. - Participate in weekly scheduling and coordination meetings with the project team. - Prepare detailed, accurate daily reports, field sketches, and forms both electroni...
