Description The Division of Transplant Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a faculty member to join our rapidly growing adult and pediatric transplant programs. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and accomplishments, with the potential for a surgical director role for highly qualified applicants. Candidates must be Board Certified in General Surgery, have completed an accredited Transplant Surgery Fellowship, and be eligible for a Texas Medical License. The ideal applicant will have experience in both adult and pediatric transplant surgery (kidney and liver), and in organ procurement surgery. Additional expertise in procedures such vascular shunts and hemodialysis access would be welcomed. In addition to clinical excellence, successful applicants will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care, education, and scholarly activity. Faculty are expected to participate actively in the clinical practice and teaching programs at Clements University Hospital, Parkland Memorial Hospital, and Children’s Health.
