- Generous SCHCADS Award salary on offer - SCHCADS Level 5, Pay Point 1 $100,776.00 pa - Full time, ongoing position - Join our dedicated team as a Senior Support Worker, creating a culturally safe space where Aboriginal women experiencing family violence can access immediate support, coordinated referrals, and engaging community programs that foster connection, resilience, and self determination. About the Role: We are seeking an energetic and culturally competent Senior Support Worker to deliver vital, culturally safe support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women experiencing or at risk of family violence. In this role, you will assess immediate safety needs, facilitate referrals to Djirra and external agencies, and mentor junior staff to build a supportive team environment. You will also coordinate the KWP's annual program of activities, ensuring a safe and empowering space for women to connect, learn, and heal.
