Position Summary Tangentyere Council: Aboriginal Corporation (TCAC) is a community controlled Public Benevolent Institution delivering human services and social enterprise activities for the benefit of Aboriginal people from the Alice Springs Town Camps, urban Alice Springs, and Central Australia. The Tangentyere Family Violence: Prevention Division’s (FVPD) approach is underpinned by the Northern Territory’s Domestic, Family & Sexual Violence Reduction Framework 2018–2028: Safe, Respected, and Free from Violence and the National Plan to Reduce Violence against Women and their Children 2010–2022 . These frameworks guide our work in addressing Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) among Aboriginal community members residing in the Alice Springs Town Camps. FVPD is an integrated program: supporting men, women, young people, and children impacted by DFSV. It includes Primary Prevention Programs, Early Intervention Programs and intervention programs such as the Men’s Behaviour Change program.
