Description PURPOSE STATEMENT: This Staff Accountant position will focus primarily on accounts payable and the full cycle vendor invoice process including verification, coding, and payment execution. The staff accountant will also assist in the month end close and provide the necessary support to the Accounting Manager and Finance team. WHAT YOU’LL DO (MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES): - Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices and confirm that the correct general ledger account codes are used. - Review and obtain appropriate documentation and approval of invoices. - Verify and process PO invoices using a three-way match for accuracy. - Open mail and scan invoices for processing. - Reconciling vendor statements. - Review company credit card transactions to ensure proper GL coding, proper receipts attached, and expense explanation memos are included - Investigate and solve vendor inquiries/disputes. - Research open PO’s - Set up new vendors into NetSuite and Ramp. - Prepare wire/ACH request forms. - Prepare/Issue W-9 and 1099s - Maintain records of Certificate of Liability Insurance/Resale Certificate. - Respond to external vendors and internal managers regarding all aspects of the accounts pa...
