Job Summary: Commercial bakery is seeking a Full Time team-oriented candidate for the Bakery Assistant position. Candidate must be willing to work weekdays/nights, weekends and/or holidays. Requirements: - Prepping sheet pans - Prepping and cleaning proofing baskets - Replenishing raw materials (flour, seeds, yeast, salt, etc.) - Cleaning (dishes, work and storage surfaces, ingredient bins, oven deck and doors, floor) - Packaging and picking breads for pick-up - Maintaining organization of product in freezer - Scaling out ingredients - Retrieving/Delivering doughs and retarded loaves from/to refrigerator - Coating rolls - Labeling bins and storage containers - Working knowledge of knives and other sharp objects. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. - Awareness of hot ovens. - Responsibilities and duties as assigned by management. - Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. - Bakery and/or Kitchen experience preferred, however, not required. - Must be fluent in English. - Must be willing to work as a team player. - Ability to set priorities, plan and organize. - Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
