Description JOB TITLE : Laundry Attendant AM|PM JOB SUMMARY : Daily cleaning of all guest and hotel linen. Perform processing of soiled linen insuring a clean and fresh product for hotel operation. REPORTS TO: Executive Housekeeper & Laundry Supervisor PRIMARY DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: PRIOR EXPERIENCE : None required. RESPONSIBLE FOR : Equipment and checklists. PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Must have ability to work steadily all day at tasks that requires walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and kneeling. Manipulation of carts weighing 100 pounds. Must be able to work around high temperature equipment. WORKING ENVIRONMENT : Laundry room may be very warm at times. Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends & holidays are REQUIRED. HAZARDS ENCOUNTERED : Some use of cleaning agents and chemicals may be hazardous if improperly used or if in contact with skin, eyes or clothing occurs. Heavy lifting, bending and kneeling.
