OVERVIEW: The Physics Department at the University of St. Thomas seeks adjunct instructors of physics for upcoming semesters (fall/spring) in the 2026-2027 academic year. Teaching load generally ranges from one to two courses per semester, depending upon department needs and enrollments. Possible course assignments include the Algebra and Calculus-based versions of Classical Physics. Both types of Classical Physics courses are offered with an integrated lecture/lab in a two-period block three days a week and count as a two-course load. Maximum class size is 36 students.
