Position Summary: This position assembles generator sets and sub-assemblies that include both standard and non-standard product lines. This will require using hand and power tools and following quality and procedural techniques. Key Accountabilities: - Use work instructions, drawings, schematics and equipment used to perform basic assembly duties in a limited number of work areas (i.e. Final Assembly and Sub-Assembly). - Cross train in multiple assembly areas and help in other areas based on necessity. - Develop and maintain an understanding of the products assembled and continuous learning of the principles, practices and processes of their job as changes require. - Recognize obvious defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship and general quality. - Responsible for following safety and environmental procedures and established processes and policies. - Provide input on continuous improvement opportunities within...
