Diesel Mechanic Location: 460 NW 52nd Ave, Ocala, FL 34482 Company: Florida Express Waste & Recycling – A Waste Connections Company Pay Range: $30+ DOE Description: Florida Express Waste & Recycling is looking for a safety-conscious Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Ocala, FL . This position is responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance on our fleet of trucks and equipment, including electrical and hydraulic systems. Schedule: - Perform repairs and preventive maintenance services on diesel trucks and equipment. - Diagnose issues using vehicle computer electronics systems and initiate or assign repairs. - Conduct safety checks and inspections on vehicles and equipment. - Complete required documentation using fleet maintenance software, including parts usage and repair time tracking. - Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs). - Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with OSHA and company standards. - Monday–Friday , with occasional Saturdays as needed Working Conditions & Physical Effort: - Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day. - Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions . - Exposur...
