Production Supervisor

Job Description: I. JOB PURPOSE Provides leadership in managing Company resources to produce quality products efficiently, cost effectively, and within design specifications to achieve organizational objectives. Supervises multiple departments on the manufacturing floor, including Dip Braze, Weld, Chemical Lines, Waste Treatment, Shipping and special process items. Works collaboratively with other Managers, Supervisors, Leads and HR in the business for overall success. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/JOB FUNCTIONS: - Responsible for the supervision in above areas of the factory on all shifts. - Follow scheduled operations in support of customer commitments. - Influence appropriate behavior across all shifts for process areas supporting or within their area of responsibility - Oversee total flow of material for their products; make priority and tradeoff decisions as needed. - Continually improve performance of areas of responsibility: - Productivity - Schedule Attainment - Product Quality - On time Delivery - Inventory Investment - Consistent/Fair Application of Policy - Responsible for contributing significantly to the consistent achievement of site on time delivery to the customer, zero qual...
