Job Description Summary Under the direct supervision of the Director and/or Charge nurse, performs the primary function of a registered nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in both the inpatient & outpatient settings; responsible for meeting standards of Wound Care practice set forth by regulatory agencies & nursing practice in the management of all assigned patients; assists medical staff with the development and implementation of wound treatment through consultation; plans & participates in performance improvement review activities; acts within the; guidelines of federal & state laws, Joint Commission standards, and professional & ethical practice.
