Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt. INTRODUCTION: The incumbent provides support to the practitioner in performing a wide variety of patient care activities. Responsible for preparing patient for examinations and procedures and assisting in the delivery of high quality health care. This position provides support services including vital signs, lab testing, maintaining patient records, communicate to patients and other healthcare professionals, assist in referral process, and maintain exam rooms, supplies and equipment. DUTIES: - Prepare patient for encounter with provider. Including but not limited to; obtain vital signs, review health histories, review medications and allergies, assist patients in filling out questionnaires, review immunization histories. Update medical record and provider. Prepare for and assist provider with a variety of procedures. Ensure clinic area is clean and has necessary equipment/supplies for procedure.
