Farmington Hills Outpatient Pharmacy, Part time-32 hours per week, Rotating Shift About Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital Corewell Health Farmington Hills opened on Jan. 19, 1965 as a 200-bed facility known then as Botsford General Hospital. Today, Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is a 305-bed teaching facility with Level II trauma status. Scope of work: Fills medication orders including oral, injectable and topical medications and intravenous admixtures. Enters patient demographics, insurance information and prescriptions into the pharmacy information system, prioritizing scripts for customers waiting. Appropriately handles and reprocesses rejected claims. Processes prescriptions, retrieves correct medication, fills and labels prescription and attaches any necessary notifications. Files completed scripts in the patient pickup bins after pharmacist verification. Answers telephone and assists customers at the lobby counter and Pharmacy drive-through window. Updates and electronically transmits the daily drug order – monitors and documents/communicates special orders and shortages.
