Location: Lennar: CORE JOB SUMMARY: The Pharmacist Technician 3 prepares medications for patients under the guidance of a Pharmacist. Assists the Pharmacist with support activities and processes required to dispense medical prescriptions, price-checking, and restocking of drugs, in addition to hazardous or other advanced level compounding. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS: Collects, inputs, and verifies prescription, refill, and patient information and maintains patient records. Fills orders and prepares labels for unit doses and prepackaged pharmaceuticals. Implements inventory control procedures and ordering supplies within regulatory guidelines. Anticipates pharmacy medication dispensing needs. Responsible for hazardous, specialized, or advanced level compounding, which may include chemotherapy, epidural, ophthalmology, CADD pumps, and TPNs.
