Great work/life balance and be providing anesthesia services within a known and respected hospital system. Case Assignments: Ortho, General, Urology, Plastics, ENT, Vascular, and GYN. Shifts: PRN: Team: Leadership Gregory Weiss, MD Team Highlights: Great CRNA per diem opportunity with career advancement. Currently, a Physician model only. Responsibilities: Pre-anesthesia assessment: Obtains and/or verifies patient consent: Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Requirements: Current license as a registered professional nurse Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists Lifestyle: Suffolk, VA: Suffolk is the largest city in Virginia, consisting of 430 square miles of rich land with woods, lakes, rivers, and rolling terrain.
