Bartender Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Provide an energetic, outgoing, fun personality while maintaining professionalism. - Perform varied duties to ensure all aspects of the proper steps of service. - Offer polite, professional, and courteous customer service. - Communicate effectively with co-workers and guests. - Mix ingredients and prepare cocktails and other drinks according to drink recipe. - Serve wine, and bottled or draft beer. - Take beverage orders from serving staff or from guests. - Communicate effectively, clearly, patiently and humorously with co-workers and guests. - Complete all side work as assigned. - Be well-versed in the products in order to guide the guest experience and sell food and beverage items. - Check guests’ identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption. - Present and encourage current promotions to guests. - Accurately record and account for all items ordered and secure payment from guest. - Accurately account for all sales and receipts and record tips as outlined in company policies and procedures.
