Field Engineering Manager 4 Location : Overview: V2X is looking for a Field Engineering Manager to support the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s Perimeter Intrusion and Detection System (PIDS) deployed at the metro NY airports. The PIDS Field Engineering Manager works as part of a New York/New Jersey based team that designs, builds, integrates, tests and supports this 24 * 7 operational surveillance system. This position involves a supervisor role of PIDS field personnel and management of resources for activities at JFK & LaGuardia airports in New York City or Newark & Teterboro airports in New Jersey. - JFK & LaGuardia airports in New York City or - Newark & Teterboro airports in New Jersey - Activities include system modifications & maintenance and technology refresh & deployment. - The selected candidate should be self-starting and inquisitive with strong analytical and problem solving skills, good written and verbal communication skills and thrive in the challenges of working in an operational environment. - The candidate must live in the New York City / Northern New Jersey metro area and be able to work from our offices at either the Newark, LaGuardia or JFK airports...
