Position Summary: The interior shop truck driver responsible for transporting the aircraft parts between Lavergne and Nashville, Tennessee. Job Responsibilities: - Safe Transportation: Ensure that aircraft parts are safely and securely transported from one location to another, following all relevant safety protocols and regulations. - Loading and Unloading: Assist with or oversee the loading and unloading of aircraft parts (Racks), ensuring that they are handled carefully to avoid damage. - Compliance with Regulations: Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including those specific to the transportation of aircraft parts, such as hazardous materials regulations if applicable. - Vehicle Inspection: Perform regular inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly. - Communication: Maintain open communication with your leads, Stores personnel, and other Leads at BNA to ensure smooth and efficient transportation operations. - Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure that the parts are transported in a manner that prevents dama...
