Description JOB SUMMARY: Within the context of a client and family-centred framework and in accordance with established standards of professional practice and the vision, values and policies of the organization, including Indigenous Cultural Safety, cultural humility and anti-racism principles, works in a team-based environment and is charged with providing discipline specific clinical support, training and education to designated staff for the designated program area a majority of the time. Plans, implements, and evaluates site educational programs to support access and flow and meet the needs of the clinicians and site. Provides training and at the elbow support; provides education on the use of equipment, therapeutic procedures, and discharge planning processes. Works under the direction of the Manager and/or Clinical Operations Supervisor to set the priorities of the designated program. Collaborates with the Regional Clinical Education team, Regional Educator for Occupational Therapy, and other educators across VCH to ensure alignment of best practices for educational theory and remain connected with developing best practices in the profession.
