Job description

Location : Hershey, PA Department : Finance: Summary of Role: The Payroll Specialist at manages the complete payroll process for U.S. Salty Plants (hourly personnel), working closely with plants to ensure payments are timely and accurate. This role works strategically with Legal, Finance, HR, and other departments on day-to-day activities, and other strategic projects and initiatives as needed. Role Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end payroll processing for US Salty Plants hourly employees, while keeping compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for payroll and tax processes. - Monitor time evaluation of salty plants and timesheets, and update for payroll employee profiles as needed. - Collaborate with internal and external auditors for audits of payroll, and provide information and reporting of payroll information - Support payroll optimization, standardization, and training with plant payroll specialists. - Partner with IS & business for system enhancements and corrections for automated and accurate payroll processing. - Provide support to complex payroll inquiries to employees and management Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities: - Demonstrated knowledge on garn...
