Job description

Essential Job Duties: - Reviews production sheets and adjusts food preparation accordingly. Completes Prep work for next day. - Plans cooking schedule in conjunction with production manager to ensure that food will be ready at specified times. - Prepares, washes, trims, cooks and seasons all food items for each meal, using proper food handling techniques and storage procedures. - Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipes, using a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment such as blenders, mixers, grinders, slicers, and tenderizers to make sauces, soups, stews, casseroles and desserts. - Maintains cooking area in a clean, neat and orderly manner during and before leaving shift. Wash hands frequently and wears proper hair coverings at all times. - Works position on trayline as indicated by shift. Completes all work during shift without interference in quality of work and responds to changes in workload in a productive manner. - Stores and utilizes leftovers in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. - Attends meetings and in services.
