Energy & Commodities Editor Location: San Francisco: Business Area: News and Media: Ref #: 10050572 Description & Requirements: Bloomberg News is looking for a versatile and energetic editor to join its commodities and energy group in the Americas. From breaking news on corporate mergers to major moves in global commodity markets to the latest pledges to curb carbon emissions, Bloomberg's coverage in this area is broad, fast-paced and deeply reported. We need someone who can work closely with reporters on tight deadlines to cut through industry jargon and explain important and complex ideas to a global audience. The successful candidate will be comfortable switching gears between subject matters and different story formats, and will be expected to forge collaborative relationships as part of a multinational news organization that includes our website, TV, radio and Bloomberg Businessweek magazine. You'll be wrestling with complicated subject matter that needs to be broken down for the broadest possible audience, and you'll be working with reporters to improve writing and elevate stories.
