Overview Kimley-Horn's Orlando, Florida (FL) office is seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer OR Engineer in Training with 2+ years of Substation Protection & Controls experience to join their Power Delivery team. Responsibilities: - Support P&C design project deliverables, ranging from 4kV up to 500kV (with a particular emphasis on 115kV voltages and above) - Produce detailed substation P&C design packages, compliant to required client and national technical standards. Core design responsibilities include: - One-line diagrams - Three-line diagrams - Potential and current schematics - Control and Indication schematics - Communication Interconnections - Wiring Diagrams - Equipment Sizing and Specifications - I/O mapping - Construction Documentation / Outage Sequencing - Procurement and Construction SupporT Qualifications: - 2+ years of protection & control engineering design experience in the electricity transmission & distribution sector - ETAP experience is a plus - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (advanced degrees are a plus) - EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months required - Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD - I/O mapping - Constrution documentation/...
