Job Description: The Calvert County Department of Community Resources, Office on Aging, is seeking a dependable and motivated Senior Center Facilities and Operations Technician to support daily operations at County senior centers by performing facility maintenance, custodial services, grounds upkeep, equipment setup, and general operational support to ensure safe, clean, and welcoming environments for older adults and community programs. Performs semi-skilled facilities maintenance and operational support work for County senior centers to ensure buildings, equipment, and program spaces are safe, functional, and ready for daily use. The work includes routine maintenance and repairs, custodial and grounds support, equipment setup and breakdown for programs, and transport of supplies and materials between locations. The employee exercises independent judgment in handling recurring maintenance tasks and prioritizing daily work, while coordinating with supervisors on major repairs, budget-related issues, or services requiring outside vendors.
