How you make a difference The LPN Travel Nurse delivers patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within correctional healthcare settings. Under RN supervision, they assist with treatment plans, administer medications, and support diagnostic procedures. The LPN maintains clinical documentation, adheres to safety protocols, and participates in emergency response efforts. Responsibilities also include assisting with minor procedures and implementing therapeutic diets. This position requires 100% travel to support multiple healthcare facilities as needed. Additional Details: Travel LVN opportunities with Wellpath are primarily based in California, with current needs at sites such as Shasta, Placer, San Luis Obispo, and Fresno. Assignments can vary by location, but most shifts are 12-hour days or nights, with some 8-hour options and weekend rotations depending on the site. Candidates must hold an active California nursing license in good standing and have at least three years of nursing experience; correctional experience is preferred but not required.
