Job Title: Assembly Operator Department: Operations: Responsible To: Production Team Leader(s): Role Outline: To perform a wide variety of assembly, testing, packing or similar tasks in order to produce quality instruments for Fluke and/or it’s subsidiaries. Primary Responsibilities: As required, partake in the creation, review and implementation of new procedures/work instructions, including suggesting improvements to currently issued procedures. - To fully assemble, test, calibrate, inspect and pack a range of Instruments across multiple manufacturing cells as required by the business. - Responsible to adherence to defined processes in assigned work area, including but not limited to; Standard Work Instructions, 5S Standards, Safe Systems of Work or Engineering Drawings. - As appropriate, to train fellow operatives on defined processes as requested by the relevant Production Team Leader. - Take part in the basic diagnosis and rework of Fluke product down to Assembly/Part level and escalate fault(s) to Technicians/Team Leaders as required. - Suggest and/or implement process/product improvements using the FBS (Fortive Business System) toolset in order to improve operating KPI’s (Ke...
