Job Description THIS POSTING IS FOR TWO (2) POSITIONS: On June 16, 2022, Governor Kathy Hochul signed the NYC Public Housing Preservation Trust Act, which authorized the creation of the NYC Public Housing Preservation Trust (the Trust). The Trust is a public benefit corporation that will oversee the renovation and rehabilitation of the City’s public housing developments, owned by the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). NYCHA will remain the permanent owner of the land/buildings and will enter a long-term ground lease with the Trust to secure Section 8 vouchers. The selected Secretary 3A will be a NYCHA employee assigned to Nostrand Houses and will work on behalf of the NYC Public Housing Preservation Trust. As Nostrand Houses converts to and operates under the Project-Based Section 8 program, the Secretary will provide administrative and clerical support to the on-site Property Management team. They will assist with the preparation of reports, legal notices, disposition work orders, and notices for apartment inspections.
