About the position: Council’s Operations Department is looking for a Tree Maintenance Officer who will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the safety and amenity of Council's tree assets in streets and reserves in accordance with best practice arboriculture. The main responsibilities will include: - Carry out reactive and proactive tree works adhering to 'Pruning Amenity Trees' (AS4373) - Operate and maintain Specialist Arboriculture plant and equipment during high risk activities such as Electrical Line clearance, working at heights, felling hazardous trees, working under storm conditions and operating trucks and chippers in confined streets. - Provide general information to the public on arbori...
