Stoel Rives LLP has an immediate opening for a Conflicts Attorney . This position is part of a team that provides conflict of interest analysis and guidance in support the firm’s centralized conflict clearing process. Although principally responsible for new business and new talent conflicts clearance, Conflicts Attorneys may also be involved in conflicts clearance relating to responses to RFPs and external publications. The position requires solid analytical skills, sound judgment, a thorough understanding of the conflict of interest rules, clear written and oral communications, and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. In addition to a solid understanding of the rules relating to conflicts of interest, the Conflicts Attorney role requires familiarity with standard conflicts search strategy and corresponding software. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: Conflicts Analysis. Analyze conflict reports for new business and potential new hires and communicate results to effectively reach resolution on conflict requests and document all outcomes.
