Job Summary: The Coordinator-Transplant 1, Transplant and Cellular Therapy (TCT) demonstrates comprehensive care and advanced knowledge related to the specialty practice of pediatric stem cell and bone marrow transplant process and treatment. Utilizes discretion and independent judgment to prioritize, coordinate, provide and document direct and indirect quality patient- centered care in a dynamic environment in a large tertiary, Magnet Recognized academic Children's Hospital. Performs the nursing process (assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation) independently and in accordance with LLUCH's established Professional Practice Model (Duffy's Quality Caring Theory) to achieve proficient individualized physical, psychosocial and spiritual wellness and provide compassionate bereavement support as needed. Works in tandem with nursing leadership and Medical Director to achieve/maintain Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) and National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) accreditation, maintains databases as per requirements.
