Purpose: Contributes to the overall success of the Global Event Marketing Team globally ensuring specific team and individual goals, plans, and initiatives executed/delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted follow governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. Under the guidance of the Operations Manager, Global Event Marketing, this position oversees/manages all the necessary operational, support, and administrative functions on behalf of the Global Events Team, as assigned by the Manager. The Operations and Support Functions team is critical to the success of the Global Events team in the delivery of events across all Scotiabank business lines. This role may also involve a leadership function in the hiring, training, and performance management of Event Coordinator(s). This role interacts with and provides direction to all levels of the Global Event Marketing group.
