Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Department of Anesthesiology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Professor & Chair. Reporting to the Dean of the College of Medicine, the successful candidate will: - Recruit, direct, and develop a faculty who, as a group, can provide the full range of anesthesia services, which includes: - 20 full-time clinical faculty that care for patients at University Hospital at Downstate and the ambulatory surgery unit at Kings County Hospital Center - A 4-year accredited Residency Program with 17 Residents at each training level - The College of Medicine Anesthesiology Clerkship with approximately 10 students per each two-week rotation - Be responsible for admin...
