Your role: - Perform conceptual and preliminary design of safety, control and monitoring computer systems to define the system requirements, computer architecture, product/tool technologies and evaluate system performance and reliability. - Evaluate digital I&C system products and establish processes and procedures for their use in computer software design, development and verification & validation (V&V). - Execute software engineering tasks including software requirements specification, software design descriptions, coding, verification, testing, and documentation. - Develop software and scripts using a variety of programming languages/toolsets/environments including, but not limited to: IEC 61131-3 languages, C, C++, Varian/SSCI-890/PDP11 Assembler, Fortran, Pascal, Visual Studio, LabView, XML, Photon. - Prepare requirements and develop tools for test/development systems as...
