Title: Industrial Maintenance Instructor Employee Classification: Institution: TCAT-Crump Department: Faculty: Campus Location: TCAT Crump: Job Summary: The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Crump is accepting applications for the full-time position of Associate Instructor in the Industrial Maintenance program Job Duties: - 100% - - Provide classroom and lab instruction to prepare students to become Industrial Maintenance Technicians. - Monitor, grade, and evaluate individual students’ progress. - Maintain appropriate records and submit timely reports. - Assist in recruitment and placement of students. - Maintain good public relations with business and industry. - Maintain an active advisory committee - (Essential) Minimum Qualifications: - Minimum of certificate or diploma in instructional area or equivalent training with credential in related field. Associates Degree preferred. - Must have a minimum of 3 years’ work-related experience. Manufacturing experience a plus. - Must be proficient in basic electronics and electricity and be knowledgeable of hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers (PLC), instrumentation, and preventive maintenance. - Must commit to rem...
