The Opportunity: We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in either Florida or Michigan. The Systems Engineer will assist in the design, build, configuration, deployment, maintenance and support of the core financial systems and associated gateways. What You’ll Do: - Install, test, upgrade, and configure Microsoft Windows/Linux (RHEL) servers and software. - Ensure the core financial systems and gateways are working optimally and securely. - User security administration for core financial systems. - Perform routine maintenance on systems, including patching and security remediation. - Identify incidents quickly and drive resolution in a time sensitive manner. - Perform monitoring of production environments to ensure optimization of each supported system. - Install and maintain software utilities to identify/resolve issues. - Interface with hardware and software vendors to ensure proper maintenance of existing products and evaluate new products. - Work with virtual technologies. - Maintain working knowle...
