Job Description Overview: The Senior Project Manager - Highways will provide senior level technical direction, mentor and support junior to intermediate staff, contribute to management initiatives, and serve as a key contact with clients. Experience in a Project Management role with the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) is required. In addition, liaising with regulatory agencies, networking with other professionals and new business development. Your role: - Manage Highway Design projects in Ontario, leading a team of engineers, designers, other disciplines & consultants to meet MTO requirements. - Maintain project budgets, schedules, risk registers. - Communications with project team, client staff and project stakeholders. - Lead technical proposals for highway design pursuits and similar transportation engineering work. - Ensure all deliverables meet client requirements and all applicable standards, codes and regulations. - Maintain required quality system standards and procedures. - Embrace and actively support behaviour-based workplace health and safety policies.
